Interior Painting
Clean lines, flawless walls, and a deep respect for your living space.
Request an EstimateInterior painting is entirely about the prep work. The final coat is just the reward for hours of careful masking and sanding.
Having contractors in your house can feel invasive. You worry about dust on the furniture, paint spots on the hardwood, or sloppy edges around your trim. I understand that anxiety.
We approach interior work with a strict protocol. Before a paint can is opened, we move and wrap your furniture. We cover the floors entirely. We tape edges meticulously, spackle nail holes, and sand out drywall dents. We caulk gaps in the baseboards. We use premium products like Benjamin Moore Aura or Sherwin-Williams Emerald because they lay down smooth and wash well for years.
When we finish, we pack up our gear entirely. You are left with crisp lines, rich color, and no mess.
The prep goes deeper than most people expect. We skim and sand patched areas until they disappear under a raking light, spot-prime bare spackle and any water or tannin stains so they don't bleed through, and sand lightly between coats so the finish lays down glass-smooth. Where old glossy trim is involved, we de-gloss and prime so the new enamel actually bonds instead of scratching off later.
Cleanliness is part of the craft, not an afterthought. We contain dust while sanding, keep floors and fixtures protected the entire time, and tidy up at the end of every day rather than leaving a job site to live around. When we pull the tape, we do it while the paint is at the right stage so the lines stay crisp.
Finishing details are where a room comes together. We help you choose the right sheen for each surface — a washable matte or eggshell on walls, a durable satin or semi-gloss on trim and doors — and we apply full, even coats (almost always two) for depth of color and true coverage. Cutting in the ceiling and trim by hand means no crooked tape edges.
We paint interiors throughout the area, from the historic homes of Honesdale to the off-season repaints around Lake Wallenpaupack.
